In 1993, 36 year old John Henry Bell would be seen in Cheshire Crown Court on four counts of rape, one of buggery, one of attempted murder and one of murder. His crimes could be traced to six years before when he had first become known as the “Stockport Rapist”; though it soon emerged that he was also a murderer, when he was also identified as the “Red Riding Hood Killer”
