Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future. In this episode, we invite Leslie-Ann Smith, to help decode equality and "escalate the conversation". This past International Women's Month, the UN geared the month towards the awareness of equality and dubbed the theme "Women in leadership: achieving an equal future in a covid 19 world". But what does this all mean? As it stands, women are still over-represented in low-income jobs and under-represented in leadership positions, the pandemic has further shifted this reality into regression. With the help of Leslie, we peel back the layers of the different factors contributing to this regression particularly in a local context.
