God has been so faithful, to show me His love and His compassion over the last few years in my own life. I used to be constantly in striving mode. Some would call it a “goal digger”. I was always preaching about forming new habits and routines, only to find myself going in and out, stumbling and struggling to sustain the “new formed habits” I was clinging to for a short lived period of time. We are so afraid to look weak, afraid to ask for help, afraid to need people to surround us. But God will go to to great lengths to reveal himself to us, through the struggles and short comings we face. To show us that all along he’s been trying to nudge us back into his arms and heal our broken hearts. “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
