<p>those words struck me deeply.</p>
<p>taking this moment to celebrate my parents. They may not have been perfect in every place, but they were great in ways that have shaped who I am today. They’ve taught me values that this friend and others see; selflessness, honesty (at least 85% of the time), simple and noise-less life.</p>
<p>shoutout to my parents—my backbone, my role models, my sponsors, my pastors, my <a href="https://www.google.com/search?q=Oniduros+yoruba+meaning&rlz=1C5CHFA_enCA971CA971&oq=Oniduros+yoruba+meaning&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIJCAEQIRgKGKAB0gEINDY1M2owajeoAgCwAgA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer"><em>Oniduros</em></a>. They've been a solid force in my life, <a href="https://jollofwrite.substack.com/p/i-turn-30-today" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer">guiding me through these 30 years</a> on earth. </p>
<p>Despite anything I may have written or not written about the past, the present is different. Right now, I love them completely, and they love me right back. We’re in a good and beautiful place, and that’s something I’m grateful for every day.</p>
