A North Carolina Superior Court judge in Forsyth County, NC, ruled on August 8th, 2025, to vacate the convictions of the Winston Salem 5 for the 2002 murder of Nathaniel Jones and dismiss all charges with prejudice after finding credibility to their claims of innocence.
