<p>At the Christmas break - World Juniors is a hot topic; The Elite 6; Vancouver takes over first in the Western Conference as Vegas plays through goaltender injuries and LA with fewer games played continues to play catch up.

<p>Dallas last minute win has them atop the Central at the break. Winnipeg a point back of Dallas and Colorado in a tightly contested 3-way race.</p>
<p>The Wild Card hopeful group has the next four Central division teams vying for 2 spots - Arizona, Nashville, St. Louis and Minnesota while it's Edmonton after by point percentage.</p>
<p>To wrap it's Michigan goals and a look at the draft lottery teams well below the playoff cut-off in Calgary, Seattle, Anaheim, San Jose in the Pacific and Central Chicago.
