<p>Our guest this week is Ann Powers. Ann is NPR’s music critic and correspondent, and is widely acknowledged to be one of the most influential music writers working today. She has served as the chief pop music critic for the Los Angeles Times, and before that was a pop critic for the New York Times, and a senior editor at the Village Voice.
