The Upside Podcast is back after a one week hiatus! JP surprises Paulina and they head to the wonderful city of San Diego for Valentine's Day and record this week's episode from the bed of their hotel room (warning, they're a bit delusional). They chat about how they've celebrated the day in the last few years and the the unfortunate events that they needed to get through this past week. The question for this episode, they answer the age old question, if you had three wishes from a genie...what would you wish for? Everything from eating anything you want without gaining a pound to wishing the world treat each other as if we were at a rave, they delve into what would make a good wish and how the genie might somehow screw it up.

Paulina compares herself to Matthew McConaughey and her and JP try to figure out how they have listeners in Italy. JP talks about a horrific restaurant experience they had that was resolved in the right way and Paulina talks about the creative flow she’s currently in. This week’s question comes from the rabbit holes of the internet and what advice you’d give your younger self…with a twist. They delve into infidelity, losing dogs (yes...plural), living with loved ones, and learning lessons from toxic relationships.

Nothing like a cup of tea to start the podcast. Before diving into their weekly question, JP introduces a new segment, Highlight of the Week! Paulina talks about her Dollar Tree adventures and JP catches Third Eye Blind live during Grammy week in Los Angeles. On this episode, the question comes from the ice breaker game, BEST SELF: The Edison Deck and the two discuss their parents immigrating to America for a better life and asking the important questions to your loved ones when you still have the chance to do so.
