<p>Matt Segall is a Assistant Professor in the <a href="http://www.ciis.edu/academics/graduate-programs/philosophy-cosmology-and-consciousness/about-the-program" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness Program at the California Institute of Integral Studies</a> in San Francisco. He teaches graduate courses applying process philosophy to various disciplines, including the natural and social sciences, as well as the study of consciousness. He also teaches courses on German Idealism, with a special focus on Schelling’s&nbsp;<em>Naturphilosophie</em>and Goethe’s scientific method.&nbsp;His current research explores the relevance of process philosophy to new paradigms in physics and biology. He also published the book <em>Physics of the World Soul.&nbsp;</em></p>
