Kanyi Maqubela is an investor and entrepreneur who is currently the managing partner of Kindred Ventures. Before that, Kanyi quit his job as a math and science teacher to work for Obama’s presidential campaign. He’s taught at Stanford and NYU, produced a documentary film, Taking Back the Grove, and launched HeartBeat Health, a company whose goal is to change how heart health is delivered across the world.
