In March of 2020, when the Dane County Jail stopped all in-person visitations due to the rapid spread of the Covid-19 virus they implemented a policy in which every inmate was allotted two 15-minute phone calls per day.<br /><br />No matter if it's free or charged, if you happen to be on either end of a jailhouse phone call you should be aware this is not a normal phone call.<br /><br />That’s because there’s an inherent irony in this kind of call.
