<b>50-year-old Susan Ledyard was by all accounts happy and healthy the night before she was found dead in the Brandywine River near Wilmington, Delaware. She had injuries to her face and body but what those are is not public. All seemed normal and no one thought anything was off with Susan. <br /><br />At 3:02am though Susan leaves her home in her car and parks about a mile away in front of an office building gate. It is unknown if anyone was in the car with Susan. It is also unknown what happened, or if anyone joined her after she parked because once the headlights turned off it was too dark to see anything. <br /><br />There isn't a ton of information in the case but we do know her cause of death was blunt force trauma and drowning. The police firmly believe it was a homicide, not an accident. <br /><br />We also know that her husband got remarried just 6 months after her death and in January of 2023 he was arrested on assault charges placed by his current wife.
