National surveys of adults suggest that between 9-32% of women and 5-10% of men report that they were victims of sexual abuse and/or assault during their childhood.</p>
<p>Despite the fact of these harrowing tragedies, our ever vigilant efforts as a society, and of what we now know as the “#MeToo” movement- We still witness such a confounding and painfully small reduction in the frequency by which these ghastly atrocious acts against another occur. Often feeling the shocking pull of rape culture.</p>

Having experienced for over twenty years, the trauma first hand trauma inflicted by this most handouts and horrific act. Her struggles of overcome such adversity and the stigma are never-ending, yet today, she has found the light to prevail.</p>
