Episode 4 of The Tungsten Show introduces with our special guest Axel Morin. Axel is a French lighting technician working and living in the UK for the past six years. He recently moved to freelance after working for Pixipixel rental company for three years as an operations manager. Quite recently, he has decided to quit full-time employment and shift into this freelance lifestyle. Axel shares his experience and thoughts about this change.
We discuss the importance of working for kit rooms, how to get in the film industry as a lighting technician, how it is to be a successful freelancer. Axel shares his wisdom and the secret tools he uses on set.
