The Maker's Mound

We doubled down this week and had Darby Wilcox and her wonderful band (the Peep Show) sit down and hang loose with us for a while. We're all good buddies here and I think you can tell we've missed hanging out together durrent this epidemic. We cover a bit on early beginings and how long histories together can craft strong relationships within a band, which in turn translates into amazing chemistry in live and studio enviorments. Darby is a major player in my mind for encouraging an atmosphere that envolves everyone in all walks of music to work together and I'm thankful she had the time to chat. Her band is a part of several other fantastic projects I would highly suggest checking out as well, all links provided below! Be sure to watch for their upcomming live streams! https://www.facebook.com/darbyandthepeepshow/ https://www.facebook.com/Quasi-Quasar-110634440578778/ https://www.facebook.com/Phatlipmusic/

This week we chat with two of the most creative minds that I've ever been lucky enough to call old friends. Jordan and Rob are working on a new release from Haedes and we were happy to hangout and talk about the old days, but also some of what I've missed as well! We had slight issues with our satellite rig but ended up making it work and having a great time in the process. We hope you enjoy and follow them for their future releases! https://www.facebook.com/HaedesMusic/ https://open.spotify.com/artist/0o3zws7qcwiOd2JnvAW5Tl

This week we had Andrew of Brother Oliver chat with us about what's been going on in his world and how he's found a way to put it all together. Andrew also is a part of Forthright Records and talks to us on how everything from creating content to managing a brand can be important in these times (and even after)! Come hang out for the convorsation and leave as a fan as we get into how many hats may you have to wear to do it yourself. http://www.brotheroliver.com/home http://www.forthrightrecords.com/info

We sit down with our good buddies Tyler and Jake of The Jake Bartley Band and talk about how to navigate these questionable waters we're floating on. We enjoyed our time chatting on humble begginings and the situations that insue when you're in a band full of your best friends.

This week, we got to sit down with some very good friends of ours Granger Smith and Nic Massey to talk shop and generally get a pulse on their creative rhythm. Bad Weather States has transitioned into a regional act over the last few years and we can see why. We hope you enjoy the show as we recant some of our "not so glorious" moments and make sure to check out the end of the episode, as Bad Weather States has been kind enough to let us debut their newest singles from their upcoming release "613"!
