<p>The voice you hear on today’s episode is an effervescent, insightful, and dynamic voice for education, that of Shraddha Shirude, an Ethic Math studies educator in the Seattle area. Early in her teaching career, Shraddha saw the need to change the game and created a unique Math elective that adds the diverse perspectives of students in the Math curriculum, I titled this episode Devoted because of Shraddha’s ability to connect through storytelling while elevating the deep passion she has for achieving racial equity, in addition to teaching Shraddha serves as a coach for Seattle Education Association’s Center for Racial Equity and the secretary for Washington state’s Ethnic Studies program. </p>
