On February 4, 2017 Pierce contracted bacterial meningitis which left him with a significant brain injury. After two weeks in a coma and 75 days in the hospital, our life suddenly looked very different. However, we knew God had and still has a very special plan for Pierce's life. Despite the illness leaving multiple physical and cognitive disabilities, Pierce remains full of joy as evidenced by his beaming smile and infectious giggles. We are blessed to be his parents! When he is here, you can often find Pierce in the admissions booth hanging out with the team and welcoming guests to the park! Pierce's love for construction was the main inspiration for Dig World. We wanted to build something that ALL children and adults could enjoy. We teamed up with our good friend from college, Rick Bennett, and Dig World was set in motion.
