On this episode of Social Quarantine, Danielle phones Chris Seymour and Madeline Otero to talk about how their work networks and practices have changed as a result of the global pandemic. Chris is a commercial insurance account associate and Madeline is a 6th grade teacher. In addition to discussing their changing careers, we also chat about what it's like to work from home when you just moved into a small apartment with your significant other, cat, and dog.

Today's conversation is inspired by a book by Clay Spinuzzi called All Edge: Inside the New Workplace Networks. This book discusses the ways that workplaces have changed throughout the years, especially when it comes to how we communicate, collaborate and coordinate our work. While All Edge was published long before the Covid-19 crisis, so much of what Spinuzzi wrote is now more relevant than ever. We have all changed our lives with this pandemic. And for many of us, that includes how we interact with others and organize our work.
