<p>NIL and the Transfer Portal in college sports. Is it an evil temptation for 18-23yr olds, since the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil?   </p><p>Is there any significance to the fact that everyone has blind spots in their character and personality? Couldn’t God have made us fully self-aware? </p><p>  As I read the Gospels, I start wondering why John the Baptist is so unsure about Jesus and who Jesus is. The Father and Spirit seem to clearly reveal the identity of Jesus as God the Son at his baptism by John. Yet as recorded in Matthew 11:2-6, John sends his disciples to question Jesus. I know this is probably speculation on your part, but I wonder why John appears to be questioning this clearly observed, heard, and experienced baptismal event and message from God.</p>
