Why is it hard to take advice from friends?

We dig into why people often crash after big events and how to navigate that period.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;p&gt;From there, we move into a conversation about our society.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;p&gt;It seems to hard right are winning.&amp;nbsp;Despite Labour winning a huge majority in the UK election, the popular vote tells another story.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;p&gt;If Proportional Representation existed, they would have 236 vs 411 seats, and Reform would have 94 vs 5 seats. It’s not quite the left victory when you look at this way.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;p&gt;Similar (and potentially more worrying) things happening in the US and across Europe.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;p&gt;The hard left is equally divisive and isolating. You're either in it, or you're the other side.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;p&gt;Fringes seem to be getting bigger and louder. The majority middle seems quiet and inert. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;p&gt;The people who can stop the nutters seem to be underground or sleeping.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;p&gt;So, we're asking where are all the normal people hiding?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;hr&gt;&lt;p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'&gt; Hosted on Acast.
