<p>Throughout our lives we plant many seeds of hope with people but usually we never know which seeds take root or which plants continue growing. In this episode, we hear a story of perseverance and overcoming the odds. We also hear about a police Sergeant who spent his career mentoring at risk youth, fueled by the time his own son spent in prison and wanting to spare other kids that experience. We find out what happened when he received a letter from one of these kids 10 years after he planted seeds of hope.</p>
