<p>I was able to catch Grace during a brief break from Phd studies. It’s the holiday season and we spent some time in nostalgia with books from childhood: Boxcar children, Magic Tree House, and Series of Unfortunate events. We also talk about food and other books related to cuisine and also about Andrea Louie (advisor) book How Chinese are You. </p>
<p>It was also wonderful to hear about Grace’s two trips back to China. One with her mom during teen years and another more recent trip to China and Korea with her partner.
