<p>In this episode I sit down with 3 breast cancer survivors that narrate their experiences of going through their breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, and the important to their state of mind to continue working and how that support of their workplace played a big role in their lives. This panel was part of an event I moderated called "Me and breast cancer at work" as part of a series of events of the WFFC foundation called Pink Notes.&nbsp;</p> <p>Globally, in 2020, 2.3 million women were diagnosed with breast cancer. A survey reveals that 77 percent of working women with breast cancer, including those with metastatic disease, feel that working aids in their recovery.</p> <p>The Women in Flavor and Fragrance Commerce, Inc. is a professional association founded in 1982 to provide women in the flavour and fragrance industry a forum for networking, education, career advancement and camaraderie. WFFC strives to educate, engage and empower its members and with Pink Notes looks to provide women in the workplace with the support, advice and education they need.&nbsp;</p> <p>Paula Flory is a WFFC board member, breast cancer survivor and CEO &amp; Founder “Move Over Breast cancer".</p> <p>Patricia Florest is a breast cancer survivor and working mother.</p> <p>Glenda Mensah is a breast cancer survivor, the co-founder and chairwoman of the WFFC foundation, and currently works as an Account Director for Frallier.&nbsp;</p> <p>Enjoy the episode!</p>
