We met Dr. Petty at a New Year’s Day brunch a few years ago and kept in contact since. He’s unapologetically Petty with a capital P and extremely transparent. Listen to us catch up and chat about life in Cleveland, single parenthood, and team LeBron.

Some people you meet and instantly there’s a connection. A connection so strong that you feel like you’ve known each other forever. This was the case with our friend Marko-Victor. We always been able to talk about “anything” so this episode is no different. Marko-Victor give us a candid look into his dating life.

When I went to grad school I was assigned a mentor who’s name had more syllables than anyone I’d ever met. In a new city, not knowing a soul, I really wanted to be connected with someone more like me. Sixteen years later she has become one of the best friends I’ve ever had and we have more in common than I could have ever imagined. We still trade stories about our brothers, among others things but I wasn’t quite ready for this update.

Growing up, everybody always loved our mother. It wasn’t until we got older that we realized that our mother was our friend...we could discuss “anything” with her. Today we discuss the importance of reciprocation in relationships. Ready? Let’s go.
