However, every other member of the Minutemen is absent. As the funeral proceedings progress, our vigilantes recollect an incident from their own memories involving The Comedian: none of them pleasant or funny. Also absent from the occasion is Laurie who visits her mother at the Nepenthe Gardens retirement home.
