Tolerance is essential in an imperfect world. Without it, nations might go to war over simple human imperfections, friendships may crumble and families may fall apart but - tolerance is often thrown around today with a meaning that is far from its original definition.  Tolerance properly defined, is good and necessary but like most good things, it has its limits.
