Your Own Personal Beatles

It's our belated Christmas special! Friend of the show, comedian and musician Johnny White Really-Really returns to take part in our second Beatles Cover Challenge.

We pick a Beatles track for each other, have one month to record it, and reunite to discuss the results and what we've learned about the songs by recreating them.

Musician and songwriter Ed Dowie joins Jack and Robin to discuss his Personal Beatles. Ed chats about emotive music (notably She's Leaving Home), songwriting techniques and processes, and what makes music good - there's an easy one.

Musician, Ben Jacobs AKA Max Tundra joins Jack and Robin this week to share his personal Beatles. Under the name Max Tundra, Ben's critically acclaimed and influential solo records have recently been reissued on Domino, and he has worked with an array of artists from Arca to Daphne and Celeste.

Occult, cult comedian, Andrew O'Neill joins Jack & Robin this week to reveal their Personal Beatles. We also chat about Andrew's Heavy Metal-influenced stand-up, The Beatles' influence on heavy music and 70's counter culture, and Paul's monumental set at Glastonbury 2022.
