Finding Felicity

Episode 47 is called The Christening (Or, Back on Her Felicity Bullsh*t) because despite her emotional growth, Felicity just can’t resist doing some “romantic” stalkery nonsense. And while we usually release episodes on Fridays, we’re releasing this episode on a Saturday – October 4th, 2025, which happens to be the 25th anniversary of the premiere of Felicity Season Three! In this episode, Teresa and Kat discuss the Felicity S3 PREMIERE, “The Christening,” in which Felicity impulsively rents an apartment and forces Ben to deal with it; the Gang searches for Noel, who’s changed a lot over the summer; Julie struggles with the harrowing events of her summer break; Elena and Tracy’s relationship starts showing signs of strain; and Sean and Meghan make a sex tape. SHOWNOTES: Wikipedia entry on Carcinisation (evolution into crabs). And by the way, this only applies to crustaceans, not people. “Crab People” clip from South Park. Welcome to our first BONUS EPISODE of Finding Felicity – 'A New Version of 'New Version of You!'' where Kat and Teresa introduce Finding Felicity's new theme music for Seasons 3 and 4, which was beautifully composed and performed by the Voice of Finding Felicity, Dayna Webber, and Joshua Chaplin. As Kat says in this Bonus Episode, "we believe in democracy." So, here's a link to the episode of the Dear Felicity podcast where the Felicity producers, cast, and co-writer of 'New Version of You," Andrew Jarecki, give their take on the new theme song. Episode 46, the final episode of Finding Felicity, Season 2, is appropriately called The Season 2 Wrap-Up (Or, A Felicity Season in 2025) because these silly college students don’t know what to prioritize! Teresa and Kat put on their writer hats and talk about what a season of Felicity might look like in today’s TV landscape, crafting a 10-episode story arc that saves the best of Felicity, S2 while trimming the dead weight (so long, Greg!). This was a fun one to record! We’d love to hear what you think of our version of this season of Felicity and/or how you’d design the season if they were making Felicity today! Episode 45 is called The Biggest Deal There Is (Or, Making a Big Deal Over the Wrong Stuff) because these silly college students don’t know what to prioritize! Teresa and Kat discuss the Felicity S2 FINALE–Episode 23, “The Biggest Deal There Is,” in which Felicity and Ben continue their ongoing internship debate, bickering weirdly and passive-aggressively about it; we get to attend Javier’s wedding, where we finally get to meet SAMUEL for the first time, as well as Javier’s cousin, Natalie, who proves to be a very challenging presence; and we have the return of Julie’s birth mother, Carol Anderson, who comes back into Julie’s life for…questionable reasons. Episode 44 is calledFinal Answer(Or,Girl, You Don’t Actually Care About Art) because despite all her actions to the contrary, Felicity doesn’t seem to actually care all that much about pursuing an art career…whatever that might mean to her. Teresa and Kat discussFelicity S2, Episode 22, “Final Answer,” in which Felicity and Ben’s inability to stay away from each other during finals nearly ruins Felicity’s academic career; Noel and Ruby come to terms with what their relationship needs to be, and the rest of the gang responds to the pressure of finals in different (and slightly bonkers) ways.
