Jennifer Hicks is the Business Development Manager at AIM for EQUALITY. Jennifer has been a lifelong student of the legal field and previously held a career in law enforcement in the state of Utah.


Having been a police officer allowed Jennifer the opportunity to gain valuable skills, which include investigative research, critical thinking, extreme attention to detail. Jennifer proudly served in several areas of law enforcement, including patrol, investigations, and as a public information officer. During her service, Jennifer received several advanced trainings, including as a lead homicide investigator, a mental health crisis intervention officer, and as a certified forensic interviewer, where she gained specialized knowledge on correct procedures and skills to interview children who are victims of child abuse and child sex abuse crimes. Given her time as a civil servant, Jennifer understands the importance of public relations and perception, partaking in podcasts and interviews showcasing her transition from one area of the law to another.


Jennifer continues to fuel her passion for giving back and serving her community. During her law enforcement career, she was nominated as Police Association President, a volunteer role, where she organized a police and fire charity event to raise money and awareness for youth in her community. In her personal life, Jennifer continues to participate in events and projects, often surrounding military and first responder causes in her community.


Jennifer holds her degree in Criminal Justice and her Paralegal Certification. Awards include the Police Combat Cross medal for her response and action taken during a 2015-armed assailant situation.


Jennifer is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
