In this episode, we're peeling back the layers of AI, focusing on the tech behind the 'Hype,' and exploring the fascinating landscape of what it means to be human when we're sharing the digital stage with AI, particularly our good old friend, ChatGPT.
I wanted to discuss topics like:
🧑💻 What Makes Us Human? Is there a distinct line between humans and machines, or is it all just a big blur? We'll tackle this question and explore how AI challenges our perceptions of humanity and the boundaries of our existence in the digital age. 🧠 What is Consciousness? We start our journey by probing the age-old question: What is consciousness, and can machines ever truly possess it? We'll delve into the tantalizing possibility of artificial consciousness. Buckle up, it's going to get a bit philosophical!
💻 The Tech Behind ChatGPT Ever wondered what's going on behind the screens of ChatGPT? I'll take you through the technical intricacies of how this AI marvel works, from natural language processing to deep learning architectures.
🔌 AI and Our Digital Society Our chat wouldn't be complete without discussing the societal implications. We'll discuss the impact of AI, from ethics and privacy to the potential for a harmonious coexistence between humans and AI. Also as I promised, there are few of the books I referred and thought worth sharing:

In today’s episode of Glitch we will be talking about this great mathematician Alan Turing and why he is known as the Father of modern computers.
Turing's legacy is huge. We live in a world full of computers, thanks to the work of Alan Turing. The basic principle of the modern computer—the idea of controlling the machine's operations by means of programming instructions and storing it in the computer's memory—was conceived by Alan Turing.
Turning machines are the blueprint of the modern day computers, anything from your desktop to your smart phones or the computers in the international space station are based on the Turing’s model.
Anything that can be computed can in principle be done by Turning machine. If a Turning machine can’t compute it, it’s not computable.
Even though the model was conceived more than 90 years ago, Currently there are no working model for computation is more powerful than Turing’s.
