Jewish History Uncensored

In this week's episode, we discuss the issue of how to integrate Torah principles into one's life via the experiences we have. We similarly discuss how we can use this as a powerful tool in improving our Emuna. This week's episode is sponsored by one of my first Torat Shraga talmidim, Abayai Sherman. Abayai has made an app that lets you create a custom learning schedule and then lets you add it to your calendar. You can add established programs like Daf Yomi, Nach Yomi or you can add that you want to do a perek a week if mishnayos for example. Abayai is looking for Beta testers who are looking for something like that and are willing to provide feedback. It is all free and there is no sign up. The website is currently at limud.abayai.xyz (You probably need to spell the website out.) In this episode, we look at the key factors that make it hard for us today to relate to Malchus. And we similarly examine how this makes it very difficult for us to G-d as King. We examine how the secularization of the state plays a very key part of this challenge. This week's episode is dedicated by Ben and Talia Silver in honor and for the merit for the safety of all the IDF soldiers. In this week's episode, we look at the challenge people have in relating to the key elements of Rosh Hashana. Rosh Hashana is the day of Judgement. People are definitely challenged to seriously relate to this. How broad is this challenge? Does it affect most of the religious world? What tools do we have to overcome this challenge? In this week's episode we look at how the Torah sees man's ultimate goal and capability. And we can see many parts of this issue when we properly look at Tanach. In this week's episode, we look at what proper learning of Tanach is, and similarly how we are challenged by Tanach in our days. We similarly look at what is considered proper synthesis of Tanach with the sugyas. We start discussing why, in my opinion, it is more important than ever to have a proper understanding of Tanach.
