Welcome to the Verdict! We are entering the Jury Room to deliberate on the Netflix documentary "American Murder: The Family Next Door." The film tells the story of the 2018 Watts family murders, which took place in Frederick, Colorado. While being interviewed by police, Christopher Lee Watts admitted to killing his pregnant wife Shan'ann Cathryn Watts by strangulation and their two daughters. In June 1985 Carole Packman, a wife and mother mysteriously disappeared and has never been seen since. Her husband Russell Causley is now serving a life sentence for her murder, yet no body has ever been found. Throughout the case he pleaded his innocence and refused to talk. Mark Williams-Thomas re-investigates the disappearance of Carole Packman and begins to retrace Carole's steps. Is her husband to blame? Are more people involved?
