Well, since you asked, Amanda is taking us down the rabbit hole that is the case of the Long Island Serial Killer and more specifically, how the disappearance of Shannan Gilbert lead to the unearthing of the Gilgo Beach 4.

Shannan Gilbert was a sex worker in the NYC area in 2010. Used as a means of getting ahead financially, Shannan's playground was backpage. She could work for herself and only have to pay a driver and not a pimp, but was this her downfall? Tune in while we discuss how Shannan's misfortune happened that may night. After getting a call to a john's house an hour away, it wasn't long before she was making a 23 minutes 9-1-1 call screaming, "They're trying to kill me!" then essentially running off into the wilderness of Oak Beach. Would Shannan's killer have been caught if Suffolk county police had only taken her boyfriend seriously the day after the incident? Is Shannan an actual victim of LISK...or is this just a wild coincidence? How's bubbles living? She aint.
