Chiropractic care is a topic we have not explored on the Men’s Health Unscripted podcast and we felt it was time to talk about it. Our friend Jeff Langmaid AKA The Evidence Based Chiropractor generously gives us his time to discuss the field and general modalities of Chiropractic care as well as innovations he is spearheading in the Tampa Bay Area.
Jeff is the founder of MVMT Health, a chiropractic clinic with a different approach. At MVMT they use shockwave technology as the primary healing modality. We know what you are thinking, guys you talk about shockwave all the time. However, this is different, the technology maybe similar but the area of effect is much different. At MVMT shockwave is used to treat joints. This podcast is for all the baseball players, golfers, tennis players, footballers, etc that know what repetitive motion can do to joints over time.
On this episode we discuss general modalities of chiropractic but we really dive into shockwave removing inflammation, reducing pain, assisting in gaining mobility and range of motion. While these may sound too god to be true, Patrick has been receiving treatment on his left knee at MVMT and he has seen the benefits.
We learned a ton on this episode and felt like we answered may questions our listeners may have about chiropractors and shockwave therapy.
