<p>Michael Silka was a 25 year old US Army veteran from Illinois who dreamed of living in the wilderness of Alaska. In May 1984, he finally arrived in Alaska at the tiny village of Manley Hot Springs. His visit there ended in a spree killing and a shoot out with Alaska's State Troopers, ending his life and the life of a trooper. This week's is shorter than usual but it's only a small case with limited information. We hope you enjoy!</p>
