<p>On this episode of the I Look Like a Doctor podcast, I did a short biography piece about my journey into medicine. </p> <p>I am a current Family Medicine resident (PGY2) at the University of Colorado. I am a first-generation Mexican-American and the first in my family to become a doctor. Reflecting back on my journey, it was difficult to figure out what I needed to do to get into medical school and equally as hard to stay in medical school.
