<p>Derek Ritz, also known as Ritzy, disappeared at the age of 51. He was last seen at 3 a.m. on Dec. 31 at a home on Avonton Road in Sebringville, Ontario. </p><p>The police investigation into Ritz's disappearance is ongoing, and no official conclusion has been reached. However, a private investigator from Please Bring Me Home, a Canadian organization, is actively working on the case. </p><br><p>This investigator, who has been involved since the summer of 2020, believes they are close to uncovering the truth. The leading theory involves a small group of individuals who allegedly assaulted Ritz and disposed of his remains in various ways, making it difficult for the police to recover his body. </p><br><p>Despite these theories and speculation, no charges have been laid. I spoke with Shelly Smith, a Stratford resident searching for Derek, about Derek's disappearance.
