Buddies Without Borders

In this episode, we discuss the changes we would like to make to our education systems. Should schools be preparing students simply for admission into colleges? Do higher education institutions adequately train students to join the workforce? Listen to our final episode of the Education in the 21st Century series to learn about our firsthand experience with the limitations of current education systems and our hopes for the future. 

As students, our job is to learn, but our physical and mental wellbeing is just as, if not more important. How do schools in different countries prioritize physical fitness? Mental health? We discuss policies such as mandatory uniform dress codes and whether they benefit our learning and wellbeing. We also share our thoughts on how to best foster student-teacher relationships. 

What are the similarities and differences between higher education systems in countries around the world? In this episode, we share our opinions on hotly debated topics such as standardized testing, college admissions, and whether a university education is necessary for success in the 21st century.

Welcome to the Buddies Without Borders podcast.
