Ensisilmäyksellä tapaus vaikuttaa hyvin suoraviivaiselta, mutta ruumiinavausraportti ja muut yksityiskohdat saavat viranomaiset kääntämään heidän katseensa aviomiehen suuntaan. Vuosia myöhemmin oikeudessa tehty päätös ei ole edelleenkään vakuuttanut kaikkia siitä, mitä hotellihuoneessa todella tapahtui.
