59 | You Are a Storyteller with David Alder
"What is the message that wants to come through you now?" This is the question storyteller David Alder asked each of us to contemplate as we embarked on an 8-week writing course—the result of which became the previous episode of this podcast (an episode my husband said was my best ever!) We all have stories within us that shape us at a profound level and change the way we engage with this world. Sometimes, these stories reawaken within us and ask to be shared. David Alder is a storyteller shepherding people to create parables of change through his transformative writing courses and workshops. He is also the author of a thought-provoking parable of his own called "We Will Call it Pala" a cautionary tale about the mainstream use and commodification of the psychedelic therapy movement. If you've never engaged in a consistent writing practice before, David shares practical and energetic tools to cultivate a discipline around storytelling and shares a compelling and urgent treatise for why our world needs more heart-centered stories to individually and collectively raise the vibration of our planet. I hope you love this conversation as much as I did.
