One may experience it at the start of sex, while inserting a tampon or while getting a pelvic exam. </p><p>They talk about the trials of living with vaginismus, causes, effects, pelvic floor therapy, and what vaginismus looks like in marriage. They also discuss the effects of christian purity culture and shame, and how that can bleed into the relationship young women have with their bodies.</p><p>Kareen is a dreamer, maker and Believer building a life in Brooklyn with her husband. She’s a beauty marketer by day and a ceramist, aspiring jeweler and writer by night.
