<p>Escaping societal stereotypes poses a challenge. When people readily attach labels to define you, is it deemed offensive if you exhibit strength, courage, outspokenness, wit, and professionalism? Could some attributes be viewed as intimidating? As women of color, why do these stereotypes consistently confine us? How can we liberate ourselves from these societal expectations and images?</p>
