Description

SCRIPTURE: Revelation 1:1-8SHOW NOTES: For encouragement on your spiritual journey, we invite you to visit our ministry website, Discover God's Truth, where you can access additional resources to enrich your Walk with God. The book of Revelation starts with a greeting and a blessing that blend elements of prayer and doxology. These verses strongly praise Jesus Christ (verses 5-6), and verse 7 offers a prophetic statement about His second coming. "John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne." Revelation 1:4 The apostle John (the disciple Jesus loved) is addressing actual, historical churches. He speaks to them in the same way as the New Testament letters. These seven churches represent those from every era since the first century and show common patterns of obedience and disobedience. "Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So, it is to be. Amen." Revelation 1:7 SONG: "He Who Is To Come" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnmjTuglwGU&list=RDUnmjTuglwGU&start_radio=1
