Celebrating 30 Years of Star Trek: Voyager. Star Trek: Voyager debuted on January 16, 1995, and with it came a new frontier of characters to examine, new life and new civilizations to explore and to get home. However, three decades on, is it still worth celebrating? In this landmark 100th episode of Twin Cities Trekkies, recorded LIVE at Twin Cities Con 2025 from the Minneapolis Convention Center, Wes and Kenzie celebrate the series, talk about certain aspects of it, and take several questions from the audience of around 35 people.

Celebrating the 35th anniversary of "The Best of Both Worlds."

In 1990, Star Trek: The Next Generation hit its stride with its popular third season cliffhanger finale, "The Best of Both Worlds," an episode that became one of the best cliffhanger finales in television history, alongside "Who Shot J.R." from Dallas and "Who Shot Mr. Burns?" from The Simpsons. The three-month gap in new episodes, wondering what would happen to the crew of the Enterprise would be one of the longest and agonizing ordeals for Star Trek fans, only surpassed with the unintentional two-year gap between seasons two and three of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
