<p>London, Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts. Die 40 Elephants sind Meisterinnen des organisierten Ladendiebstahls. Unter der Führung ihrer Queens plündern sie zunächst im Stadtteil Elephant and Castle, später in ganz London und darüber hinaus die elegantesten Geschäfte der Stadt.
