<p><strong>We want to highlight the importance of representation and point out the positives of South Asian people in the media without idolizing the individuals we discuss. We will acknowledge that they are prone to making mistakes and that their achievements and contributions do not diminish the wrongness of what they did, but it is still important to discuss these individuals in order to grow and improve the representation that we see.</strong></p>
