When it comes to individuals data privacy with GDPR and now iOS 14.5 it has become an Opt-in world. Regardless of what the laws are - the only ethical way to track and store private information on individuals is via the Opt-in. We will cover the latest laws and technical issues that relate to Data Privacy and point out those that are not acting with the individuals best intentions. Sadly there are many that look at privacy laws as "roadblocks" to get around and/or they think Opt-out is a viable option. This podcast is not for those people. This podcast is for those that care about their own privacy rights and the rights of their listeners / consumers. We will have an extra slant on this Podcast with regards to the data Privacy rights of Podcast Listeners. This podcast is NOT an anti-advertising podcast. This show is NOT against tracking of individuals for ads - it is however strongly against Tracking where there is no opt-in readily and easily made available to the individual.
