<p><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamedwardquigley/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferer"><strong>William Quigley</strong></a><strong> </strong>is the co-founder of <strong>Tether </strong>aka the first fiat-backed stablecoin and most traded cryptocurrency to date <em>and</em> the co-founder of <strong>WAX</strong> - one of the most used blockchains in the world with over 10 million active users and 20 million transactions per day. </p> <p><br></p> <p>Before that he was the first institutional investor in <strong>Paypal</strong>, a very early supporter of <strong>Ethereum</strong>, worked for <strong>Disney</strong> and was <strong>CEO of the world’s largest marketplace for video game virtual items.</strong></p> <p><br></p> <p>His career and ability to consistently predict and execute on the next major trends is really incredible and this episode is full of some really brilliant insights. </p> <p><br></p> <p>We talk about his career, how he spots these trends and what the future looks like for blockchain gaming amongst other things.
