Gavin Teo is a General Partner at Altara Ventures, where he invests in high growth tech companies.

He serves as a Board Director to Clevai, Klinik Pintar, Kyan Technologies, Med247, Staffinc and Saturdays. Prior to launching Altara with his partners, Mr. Teo was General Partner at B Capital Group and held appointments at Comcast Ventures, Zynga, Xbox and Bain.

He earned his M.B.A. from The Wharton School, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar and his B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College. Mr. Teo maintains residency in the United States and Singapore.

Jay Eum is Co-Founding Managing Partner of GFT Ventures. Jay brings over 20 years of extensive investment experience across both institutional and corporate venture capital firms.

Jay co-founded TransLink Capital, a Palo Alto based early stage venture capital firm supporting entrepreneurs developing customer connections and partnerships in Asia. Jay was responsible for leading investments in AI, AR/VR, blockchain, cloud, and consumer technologies.

Prior to TransLink, Jay was Managing Director of Samsung Ventures where he established and led the US venture capital operations for Samsung. Jay started his venture capital career at the Silicon Valley office of Vertex Management, Singapore based venture capital arm of investment firm Temasek Holdings.

Jay received an MBA from Stanford University and MS/BS in Chemistry from Seoul National University. Jay serves as Chairman and Board Director of the Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA). Jay is also an active angel investor and advisor to several startups.

Keith Lee is a startup growth expert specializing in global expansion and corporate innovation. As a Director at PEN Ventures, he leads cross-border business development, helping startups scale internationally.

Previously, he worked in corporate innovation at Plug and Play Tech Center and contributed to strategy teams at various startups. Keith focuses on deep tech startups—particularly in AI, sustainability, and robotics—bridging opportunities between the US and APAC regions.

With a PhD in Neuroscience and recognized as one of the top 60 AI influencers in Eastern Europe, Genia is a visionary leader in the tech industry. She has been acknowledged for her extraordinary ability by USCIS and has built a successful tech recruitment company, AiHub, headquartered in the US.

Under her leadership, AiHub secured contracts with major companies such as Microsoft, Phillips, and Agoda, and became a Google community partner in 2019, with support from Google’s Mountain View office.Today, she is an active angel investor and Limited Partner (LP) in several VC funds, passionately supporting female founders in their fundraising journeys and driving innovation in the tech space.

Peng is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Monk’s Hill Ventures, a leading early-stage tech venture capital firm in Southeast Asia. Peng is an industry veteran with over 25 years of industry experience as an entrepreneur, founder, and investor in Silicon Valley and in Asia.

Prior to Monk’s Hill Ventures, he was a Venture Partner at GSR Ventures in China. The firm is known for its successful investments in companies like Didi Chuxing, Eleme, and Qunar. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded a series of successful companies including Match.com, Interwoven and Encentuate, whose products  today combined generate over USD$1 billion in revenues annually.

Peng was awarded Singapore's Public Service Medal, P.B.M. (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) in 2012. He formerly held statutory board directorships in: ACE, IIPL, SUTD, NRF, IE Singapore, IMDA. SingTel and YY, amongst others, were commercial boards he also served on. Peng is currently the Chair of SolveEducation! and serves as a member of the International Advisory Board for the University of Texas at Austin.

He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois. Peng was inducted to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, College of Engineering's Alumni Hall of Fame in 2016.
