<p>A <strong>super weaner</strong> (also <strong>super-weaner</strong> or <strong>superweaner</strong>) is an exceptionally large <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elephant_seal" title="Elephant seal">elephant seal</a> at <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weaning" title="Weaning">weaning</a> age. Super weaners may reach their large sizes by stealing milk from nursing female elephant seals or by being adopted by an additional mother elephant seal.</p>
